Hey all

I’m looking to buy an ix1 with driving assistant pack pro and tech pack plus.
I have something similar on my Mercedes, just want to know if the iX1 packs are good enough to brake automatically when either reversing or getting too close to an object ie wall or car? Had mine work well when I once reverse and didn’t notice a low bollard and it slammed on the brake before I hit it. And once a pedestrian decided to run from the side as I was in slow traffic and again it slammed on the brake automatically.
Just a nice safety feature to have.

Be very careful I am now told after an accident that the emergency brake only works above certain speeds. it did not save my wife when turning the car at low speed in a caravan park. But she claims the brake pedal didn't work and the car was under a brake recall at the time.

Mine works at low speed. My garage is tight to get into and ofen the brake slams on, I have turned the Emergency Brake assist off for the time being. It works though!
