BMW has released a few key details on the pure-electric iX1. The most important piece of information we have is its 272-mile maximum range figure.
The company has also released some limited details about the iX1’s powertrain. Unlike the larger iX3, it’ll feature an electric motor on each axle. That means it’ll have four-wheel drive, which should make it even easier to crest kerbs and speed bumps during the school run.
