Re: Ongoing Braking system recall existing owners experience

Software update arrived just before Christmas. Allows addition cards and stuff which I guess is useful to some owners. It mentions monitoring brake system with enhanced warning or words to that effect.

Re: Ongoing Braking system recall existing owners experience

Thanks for the update , I'll check mine soon. I would prefer the part that's not good enough was replaced but seems BMW is doing what is enough to satisfy the UK regulations I suppose.

Re: Ongoing Braking system recall existing owners experience

Odd process for recall if BMW website says no but BMW dealer says yes. As for depreciation it’s all EVs nowadays due to factors which are way off topic. I have been told if I get a warning light then cars affected and call BMW assist meantime and dealer. Not great but just have to believe the proces...

Ongoing Braking system recall existing owners experience

How many current owners have received a recall letter. I ask this as I expected that if affected I would receive a letter or possibly a notification via the app. Having received nothing I called BMW CS to check for peace of mind and was told there was recall on my vehicle! and to contact my dealer t...

Re: Puddle lights question.

Not sure what you mean by puddle lights in terms of rear door. Mine are standard fit on wing mirrors showing BMW sign and as the wing mirrors are folded they light up the side of the paint work when you approach then the ground as you get closer and the mirrors unfold as the key is detected and car ...

Re: Radio Traffic Alerts

Happened to me yesterday, radio came on way louder than I would like. 2nd time I noted an option on screen to end all alerts so selected that and none since.

Re: What kind of range are you getting?

Too cold to even bother with efficiency figures at the moment for me as doing very short journeys biggest thing is the heating the cabin then almost at destination. On longer ones the heat pump does seem to help. Remote climate and fact it actually warms the steering wheel to set levels in advance a...
